Return & Refund Policy

We want you to love every piece of your outdoor sanctuary. Specific return and warranty terms are listed on each product page. This policy covers the basics that apply to everything we sell.

Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided the item has not entered production or shipped. After 48 hours, cancellation may not be possible for made-to-order items. Contact us and we will do our best.

Returns
Most of our products are handcrafted, made to order, freight-shipped, or supplier-fulfilled. Because of this, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind once an order has entered production or shipped. Specific return terms are listed on each product page.

Freight Damage, Missing Parts, or Defects
For freight or shipping damage, contact us within 3 days of delivery at support@modernhearthcompany.com or 1-512-289-5700. Please include your order number and clear photos of the packaging, label, product, and damage. Keep the packaging until the claim is resolved. For missing parts or non-freight defects, contact us as soon as possible and no later than 7 days after delivery. We will coordinate the next step with the manufacturer or carrier, which may include replacement parts, repair guidance, replacement, or refund depending on the product and issue.

Warranty Coverage
Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and are listed on each product page when available. The Modern Hearth is an authorized dealer for the brands we sell. Warranty claims are supported directly through us, so you do not need to contact the manufacturer separately.

Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Shipping costs on returned items, if applicable, are the responsibility of the buyer unless the return is due to our error or a product defect.
