This platter started as a wine barrel stave that may have aged wine for 20 years or more. Provence Platters reclaims those barrel staves, cuts them into large serving rounds, and finishes each one by hand. No two are the same.
Bring it outside loaded with cheese, charcuterie, bread, and fruit. The patina ranges from natural oak to a deep honey finish, sometimes with wine staining on the serving surface. Each piece comes with the original cooper's marks from the barrel — the stamps and notches that barrel makers have been pressing into oak since the 1600s.
